$100 Amazon.com Gift Certificate Signup Offer

Sign up for a Starwood Preferred Guest Business Credit Card from American Express and you can get 10,000 Starpoints with your first purchase. Trade 9,500 points for a $100 Amazon.com gift certificate and cancel the card. (if you want to stay at a Starwood hotel, they start at 2,000 points a night) The annual fee of $30 is waived for the first year. I’m a big fan of signing up for credit cards for their free gifts and compiled a list of free $100 gift card credit cards if you were looking for a little bonus this holiday season.

An easy 100 dollars for the holiday. You can buy almost anything on Amazon these days. Although the hotel stays may be are an even better deal if you need them. Incidentally I was approved for 18300, strange number.

A) Where is that list?

B) does it hurt me in any way to sign up for a card, take the benefit for signing up, and then canceling said card?

A. I accidentally forgot to include the list, here is the link.

B. Yes, it will negatively impact your credit score because each new card will count as an inquiry and a lot of inquiries in a short period is bad. Personally, since I’m not planning on getting any loans in the near future (or doing anything where I feel my credit score will matter), I didn’t see a downside to doing that. Your own situation may differ though.

How long does it take for your amazon.com gift card to be delivered?
