I didn't even realize she was underage. The mom's tactic wasn't working. It was a stupid idea anyway. Who pays for the kids school and the alcohol? Why are parents so afraid to discipline their kids plain and simple. I would have pulled the financial purse strings on that kid and that would have been that. The mom was really weak. She was doing it to prove a point, but then when she would have a conversation with her daughter, she would just hem and haw and not lay down the law.
