Mentioned your site today in a piece about Food: Paying More, Getting Less on Serge the Concierge

I have been exploring the topic of 'Consumed to Thrifty' for a while and have offered a Panel titled 'From Consumed to Thrifty: Strategies for the Good Life in a Wobbly Economy' for South by Southwest Interactive (March 2009, Austin).
It is being Voted On until August 29..

Take care

The home grown garden strategy is huge! My parents have been doing this for a few years now and it is great to have fresh tomatos and onions ripe and ready at dinner time during the week! It also reduces the scare that the world has seen with recal on tomatos and bell peppers that have made people sick.

It sounds like a great book and I am definately adding it to the list, I am sure out of the other 545 ideas there could be a few that could help me in my journey! Great post. Be easy.
