Almost Free Movie Ticket to An Inconvenient Truth

Fandango is giving away tickets to an An Inconvenient Truth if you use the promotion code AnInconvenientTruth3, there is a $1.00 service charge for Fandango’s service. If it’s playing at a local AMC, you can also try on a pair of jeans at American Eagle and get a free ticket that way too. If you’re curious what it’s about, visit the Inconvenient Truth homepage (at least I think that’s the homepage).

Update: Some people were not charged a service fee, I’d try this out myself except I’m in Lake Tahoe now and I’m not going to a movie.

I was going to see it when I saw the initial trailer—until I saw al gore in this other trailer. but free eh? hmm.

  2. Hawkmoon Nine says:

Free? No thanks, they’d have to pay me a lot of money to sit through that crap.

  3. King Asa says:

Have you actually done that American Eagle thing? What happens is that they give you a movie code when you try on jeans, which you then enter on the web site to see if you’ve won a free ticket. The odds are 1:10 as listed in the rules.

    From the official rules:
“log on to the website at http://www.emoviecash.com/ae (”Web Site”) and follow the directions to the Instant Win Game details page. Once connected to the Instant Win Game details page, you will be prompted onscreen to input your birth date and the alpha/numeric code printed on your Game Card (”Game Card Code”) and click submit to reveal if you are a winner or not (”Instant Win Game Play”)”

  4. Thanks for the tip….I just checked it out and the promo code also refunds the services fee, so it is completly free.

  5. Patty says:

Re the American Eagle thing, maybe there was a code on the thing they gave me, didn’t examine that well, but it was definitlely for a free ticket to the movies. My kids and I got a total of 4 of them and we went to see Monster House free last weekend. No problem.

  6. There are a number of movie theaters that are offering free admissions at certain times to movies. Doesn’t work with those that work, but can be a great break for kids.

    Free (and cheap) Movie Tickets

Jonnie Walker also has a free movie ticket give away and Sunny D fruit drink can get you movie tickets at a good discount.
