I don’t usually post much about the blogosphere but this is pretty substantial news: Weblogs Inc Sale to AOL Confirmed – Here’s the Inside Word from Darren (I am a dope, sorry) at problogger.net. Reuter’s picked it up too.

Interesting. very interesting. The question will be how independent the bloggers can remain. Let’s hope there is no change in that.
