Aloha! I just wanted to let you know I am the Pastry girl at Roy's. Thank you for the compliments on the Chocolate Souffle and Macadamia Nut Tart! I did want to make one correction on something you wrote. The "chocolate-y" sauce on the short rib entree is actually a red wine demi reduction. To my knowledge the only chocolate in it is any that is in the red wine itself.

We do hope you come back again! The menu changes once a month (other then Roy's "Y" Signature dishes.) We have many great dishes and DESSERTS!! for you to enjoy!

Many Mahalos!

We happened to be in B'more during this week and went to Bicycle. Our meal was fabulous. It is a pricey place but this was a fabulous deal. Give it a try next year.

Oh, and I meant to add, was it mole sauce that was with the rib meat? It's a savory sauce that's "chocolate-y."

If you're ever in Hawaii, Alan Wong's is even better than Roy's (although the chocolate souffle cake at Roy's is THE best molten chocolate cake I've ever had, and I've had plenty).

Interesting that Roy's and Fleming's are together in Baltimore - they share the same building in Woodland Hills, CA, and I'd never heard of Fleming's before that.
