		<description>Internships are great.  However, students shouldn&#039;t be lulled into thinking that just because you have an internship with a company, you are not guaranteed a position after college with that company.  I had internships with the same company two summers in a row, and then was not offered a position after I graduated.  Circumstances had changed between my last internship and graduation so that I would have had to work at another jobsite, in another role, where people were not familiar with me.  So basically, that wiped my slate of any previous, favorable experience.

I do think it helped to have internship experience on my resume, though.</description>
