The reason, and this may or may not still be true, is that business credit cards do not have the same level of consumer protection that the basic consumer credit cards have. The laws that protect consumers from being screwed over, things like chargebacks, identity theft, fraud, or help with buyer/seller disputes, that are available for a consumer credit card holder either don&#039;t apply or are much more difficult to do with a business credit card.</description>
