So I contacted Fandango and let them know they owed me one free ticket or a refund. They replied that they couldn't do a refund but gave me a promotional code to use for a free ticket in the future. I had my dad use it while paying for movie tickets for the extended family the day after Christmas and (surprise!) the code was good for $25 off!
