Yes, you read the title right… you can buy the town of Bridgeville, CA (on eBay of course!) and bidding starts at $1.75 million. What you get for your money is 83 acres of riverfront real estate including seven small homes (6-800 sq. ft.), a large home (1,200 sq. ft.), four cabins, a machine shop, a cafe, a post office, a 1500 sq. ft. wooden building, two “quonset” hunts, and 9 parcels of land ranging from half to thirty-five acres.
83 acres is 3,615,480 square feet, so if it sold at $1.75 million then you’re looking at a price per square foot of 48.4 cents… that’s a steal!

When I read about that property, all I can think of is making a quaint resort out of it. And you’d have your own post office which I think would be so neat.
ah its the one from 2002, and its back. this time its cleaned up and a lot better, I guess.
