You can buy generic printer ink and it works just as well as some of brand name ones.

I used cheap replacement cartrideges with great effect on a good Canon inkjet printer until it prematurely quit working because non-Canon cartridges apparently fill up a well that costs so much to empty you might as well buy a new printer. Lasers are a better deal in the long run.

We bought INK Refill System from Costco but never get it to work with our HP printer. I am now waiting for 2 pack of tri color and 2 of black cartriges purchased on eBay for total of less than $50. Regular price for tri color is $43 plus tax.

New printers usually come with ’starter’ cartridges that don’t last as long as regular cartridges. Thus, even if you get a screaming hot deal and find a printer for less than the cost of new cartridges, you’ll be in the market for ink again sooner than you think.

Its often cheaper to buy a new printer than buy a cartridge pack
