Carnival of Personal Finance #3

JLP at AllThingsFinancial proudly presents the Third Personal Finance Carnival and it’s worth checking out. Here are a few of the posts I think you shouldn’t miss.

SavvySaver’s article on Credit Protector should interest some of you who wonder what this service actually provides. I recently took advantage of a free $12 check but she does a thorough analysis of whether it’s actually worth it.

My personal favorite of the bunch, THC has a glossary for all those acronyms floating around in the personal finance world. What’s the difference between a CFP and a CPA and a ChFC and a CIMA? Exactly…

FMF’s post about using Energy Star appliances to save on utility bills. It’s hard to bite that bullet and pay for a more expensive appliance just beacuse it’ll save you on bills later on… but it’s smart.

SmartMoneyDaily is hosting the 4th Carnival, get yourself in on the action!
