How interesting! I never knew about this option to donate vacation days, but I will have to remember it in case I want to take advantage of it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Well, as for me, the $2000 I gave this month (with 100% matching by the employer) and the $4000 I’ll be giving next month (the matching program will be over, unfortunately) is enough, I think…I’m really uninterested in giving up my time off too. (I would, of course, give more money if I could do so without going delinquent on prior obligations.)

Sounds like a good way of giving something back, especially if your vacation days expire at the end of the year and you won’t have a chance to use them all up.
