At first you laugh, then you realize that for years Americans, politicians included, have been buying stuff they can’t afford. Look up some credit card debt statistics and you’ll be shocked.

  2. I originally saw this while my wife and I were going through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. It’s really a gem! And so true.

    Just saw this video myself a couple weeks back. Excerpts are included in the documentary, I.O.U.S.A., which is an interesting bit of information itself.

    That is a funny video. I actually remember seeing that on SNL a while back. Just as you point on Jim, it really hits on the point that Americans including politicians buy stuff they can’t afford. I love the part at the end where he says can he put it on his credit card.
