seems pretty kick arse to me. lots of host signed up already, awesome.
I’ll try to see if I can come up with someone for the dec 13 one.
I’m always impress with people hosting these things last minute.. cuz I know I honestly cant.. I’ll lose email or miss deadlines easily.

[...] The 174th Carnival of the Vanities went up Wednesday, nicely hosted by Free Money Finance. The next edition will be hosted by Blueprint for Financial Prosperity, who kindly swapped weeks with the tremendously busy INCITE, the originally scheduled host for February 1. Note that “Blueprint…” is the founder and keeper of the Festival of Frugality, which is a carnival with exactly the theme the name implies. An unusual host has been added for February 8: Carnival of the Capitalists. It’s the ultimate crossover. I will try to get the official Carnival of the Vanities page up Real Soon Now. For now you can always go here for the basics, mainly the scheduled hosts and some of the past editions. Remember that the permanent e-mail address for CotV is now cotvmail -at- gmail -dot- com, and you can always enter using the submission forms at Conservative Cat or Blog Carnival. Remember that the emphasis of Carnival of the Vanities is quality blog posts, not just any old to get a link and some traffic. If you’d like to sign up to host the February 15 or 22 editions, let me know: zeuswood -at- harshlymellow -dot- com. [0] Comments (0 views) | [0] Trackbacks | Permalink [...]

MightyBargainHunter.com » A word about the Carnival of Debt Reduction responds:
Posted: February 13th, 2006 at 10:33 pm
[...] Penny pinching ideas and general budgeting advice can indeed help someone get out of debt, but if they’re not put in that context, then they’re better put in the Festival of Frugality or the Carnival of Personal Finance. The past two hosts have been a lot more vigilant about checking the context of the posts and not including posts that don’t deal with debt reduction specifically. [...]

I’m here today as a different kind of host–the host of the Festival of Frugality. Unfortunately, Nick was called away on a national frugality emergency, so I’ll be filling in for him along with a bunch of my celebrity friends.
