My garden is worth $7.85/sq foot with 12x35=420sq feet for a total off $3300.00. Next year if food prices increase 20%, we will save $3960. Gardening can save you a lot of money.

Haha, congrats! I picked my first tomato from the garden last week, but it was just a single cherry tomato. I just popped it into my mouth, and man was it sweet and delicious! Should have more becoming ripe in the coming weeks, and I'm really looking forward to some of the heirlooms.

And I can't believe how big one of my tomato plants has grown this year, it is almost 6 feet tall. It is a monster.
