First Personal Finance Carnivals
I thought it would be interesting to see how far all of these personal finance related carnivals have come … so feast your eyes on some interesting tidbits from your favorite carnivals. Collect them like you would comic books kids, these things are going fast.
- Carnival of Personal Finance #1 - Originated by Flexo of Consumerism Commentary, the first CoPF was published on June 20th 2005 and featured thirteen articles. The latest edition (#50 at Get Rich Slowly) features a whopping forty entries.
- Carnival of Debt Reduction #1 - Started by none other than the MightyBargainHunter, the CoDR began on Sept. 19th, 2005 with eleven debt busting articles. Episode 48 (for this week) has yet to debut but last week’s 47th edition appeared at My Money Forest and it had 12 articles of note.
- Festival of Frugality #1 - Started here, with fourteen entries, on Dec 13th 2005 and the 34th edition (also featured here) showcases 23 articles.
- Carnival of Investing #1 - Started by RetireAt30, who abandoned it, but emigrated to MyMoneyBlog, published its first edition on Dec 19th, 2005 with thirteen investing articles. Issue 34 was recently published at neon-green heavy My Money Forest with twenty articles.
And there you have it, the big four Carnivals of the personal finance world.

You’re right - it was a bit much. Anyway, thanks for the links. Oh and the Carnival of Business just published the 18th edition.
