Now that we’ve celebrated the arrival of 2013 and the the days of 2012 are over, it’s time to look forward and talk about goal setting. I prefer goal setting to “resolution” setting because goals are “SMART”  – specific, meaningful, attainable, relevant, and timely. Resolutions can be smart but they’re usually not – setting a goal and a way to reach that goal is usually a better way to approach a challenge and broadcasting it makes you more accountable to reaching it.
