Oh, and remember to give money in even units, not odd ones! Even units are for celebrations, odd units for funerals. But avoid fours at all times, ie. $380 is better than $400 and much better than $440. Include sixes or eights if you can, luckier.

Had dim sum at China Garden yesterday (sat) in Rosslyn with a Taiwanese friend. So far it’s the best dim sum I’ve had in DC, but I’ve never been to the good places in Rockville. Shoot me an email if you have any favorites.

We did the New Year party thing at our house; it was fun. We also watched the Chinese New Year show, which was long, but required.

I had a dream about pigs in our back yard last night, which my wife interpreted as being a strong good luck sign. Hope she’s right
