Happy Chinese New Year!

Today (Sunday, Feb 18th, 2007) is the first day of the new year by the lunar calendar and thus the first day of the new Chinese year, the year of the piggy. If you’re curious about some of the other things involved in the Chinese New Year, Wikipedia has a pretty comprehensive writeup [3] about the various customs and the history behind the importance of the Chinese New Year, I recommend you give it a read if you want to learn more.
