FANTASTIC.......

Thank you Mr. Town.

I've read the book, cover to cover twice. I'vd paper clipped it and yellow, oranged and green highlighted it (based on my own code) and now am in the process of making my personal notes, (crib sheet) starting over again for the third time condensing it down chapter by chapter in order to understand the step by step process, you so brilliantly outlined.

With one 401K, a retirement savings account disguised as an insurancer policy and a self directed IRA, totally dependant on those "money losing geniuses" on Wall & Broad making decisions for me, I'm looking forward to taking control of my self directed IRA and canceling the insurance policy and moving them both to a low cost broker to begin my Rule #1 investing.

Unfortunately, I can't move the 401K, but they do contribute (dollar for dollar) up to 8% of my monthly salary, so it's not too bad.

In any event, THANK YOU........

And, God Bless You, I feel like my prayers have been answered.

By following your "Rule #1" plan, I know I'll have that "BIG" boat my wife and I have always wanted and some place nice to park it.....

One of Phil's strengths is his accessibility through his blog. Submit some homework after you've read the book, he'll give you an honest critique. He might be busier now that he has to publicize the book but he's a very friendly guy who will take the time to thoughtfully answer you questions. It's no wonder he makes an excellent public speaker (from what I've heard, never had a chance to see him in person).
