jetBlue Cardholders – Friends Fly Free Program

Posted By Jim On 04/11/2006 @ 5:08 pm In Credit | No Comments

If you’re a jetBlue Airways American Express cardmember [3] then check your inbox, chances are you received this email about their Friends Fly Free program [4]. Basically you call in 1-800-JET-BLUE, book your flight for anytime between May 1st and June 21st (book between march 27th and April 21st), and your friends flies free.

I don’t have this card but the perks look only so-so. There’s an annual fee of $40 (standard for airline mileage reward cards) but you need to spend $20,000 to earn a free flight (there are vendors that give you double points and you start off with 25 points, or the equivalent of $5000 spent). It might be worth it if you’re planning on a coast-to-coast flight and can use jetBlue.
