Read the results of Nickel’s latest poll about how folks (a hundred of them) reconcile receipts against credit card bills. Much like the 52%, I don’t keep my receipts, other than to recycle them when I get home, and just scan credit card bills for irregularities. I’m surprised this is how larger families do it where you could have multiple authorized card holders for one account because what looks irregular to me, is regular to someone else.

MightyBargainHunter tackles a common problem when you’re buying something online versus in the store, the shipping time. I suppose if you absolutely have to get it right this second, the store is your only option but the price difference has to be pretty minimal on both a relatively and absolute scale.

While we’re a larger family, my wife and I are the only ones that charge (no credit for the kiddies!). And since we’ve been married for ten years, we’re both pretty familiar with each other’s spending habits.
