I've been screwed by MBNA before. They switched payment platforms, so all the payments I sent into cyberspace were never credited to my account. I got calls from snarky peons in the call centers at 6 a.m. trying to get snappy with me about not paying my bills. Yeah, I had to curse out a few people and threaten a VP to straighten all that out.

Thanks for the heads up, I just logged in and checked and sure enough, scheduled payment didn't go through! A quick call and they were able to take care of it, thankfully.

I must say, that does not seem right. I know they could have found a way to keep upcoming scheduled payments to go through, but they will probably rake in millions from people who are too busy or trusting to double check.
