		<description>I think that the issue with the article above is that there is no real-estate exposure. As for S&amp;P 500 alternatives, you could always use IVV, which is an ETF that tracks the broad benchmark, whose annual expense ratio is about 0.09%.</description>

		<description>Hey, I JUST finished reading that article - you are fast ;)  I really wish my 401k plan offered Vanguard investments - I would xfer all current and future deposits there in a heart beat.  

Since that&#039;s the bulk of my investments (19% deferral w/ 100% matching!), the only way i&#039;ll be able to start w/ Vanguard is if i start bringing in some extra money I can apply to a new account.
