If you’ve been reading for a little while, you’ve probably heard me mention the Energy Tax Credit when talking about all the windows and sliding doors I had replaced in our home a few months ago so I’m just going to give you a little linkfest capturing all that useful knowledge (The third article is by far the most actionable of the three):

Tax Credit for Energy Saving Home Improvements ^[3] – My first look at the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and how I would be able to use it for replacing my windows.

Claiming the Energy Savings Tax Credit ^[5] – After getting the windows replaced, I researched what would be involved in claiming the credit and what “proof” I would need in the event of an audit.
