Great idea to bring up this topic Jim. We really need to better market this week to ensure that people begin go thrifty, especially in our tough times. Not only are you reusing somebody else's old stuff, but you can get stuff at a fraction of the price. Seems like a win-win situation to me.

Now is REALLY the time when we need to be focused on BEING THRIFTY. This is a great idea - pass it on!

You can set your calendar to remind you of different goals. Have your own "thrift month." You'll be surprized what you can save and how it will add up!

And remember: If you "save" but you don't remove the money from your checking and put it in savings, you are NOT saving.

I have never heard of Thrift Week, but I love the idea of it! Of course business owners would rather we go the consumerism route, than to be thrifty as it's money out of their pocket. So today is Life Insurance day, check! Thanks!
