Truth in advertising…as mrsmicah’s aunt, I think she (and her sister) have done a fabulous job in taking responsibility for earning the money to buy the things they wanted, whether CDs or PCs or whatever, and for making sure they contributed whatever they could to the costs of their college education. Mrsmicah is probably too modest to say it, but she was the most aggressive competitor ever for college scholarships…if it had money attached, she went for it…and almost without exception (because she’s terribly clever and committed, as her readers will know), she won it. Stellar performance by a stellar young woman. And by her parents, who obviously have shared what they know in a positive way.

I’ll definitely have to check out her blog!

A lot of her answers sound like I could have written them, except substitute Latin major for English major. And I graduated in December ‘06, so I’ve been blogging for a couple more months.

It sounds like she’s way ahead of me when it comes to finances, though!
