		<description>It actually does matter, as I was not affected by the original glitch because I was on a level plan and today Sallie Mae &quot;fixed&quot; my report by adding a second identical loan.  Now it looks like owe twice the amount than I do.

It also matters because your credit card companies can do &quot;AR&quot; reviews to your credit report at anytime, if they don&#039;t like what they see they can jack your rates...</description>

		<description>Well I&#039;m glad that the author of this article thinks that this is nothing to worry about.  As one who was affected (my score plunged by 133 points), I think there is plenty to worry about.  Sure, Sallie Mae has fixed the problem, but their &#039;fix&#039; is now causing my loans to be double-reported on my credit report so that it looks like I have double the debt with them.  Now they&#039;re supposed to be &#039;fixing&#039; this latest problem, so I can&#039;t wait to see what they do to my credit report next.</description>
