Back to School Deals on Laptops, Messenger Bags

HPNow that it’s August, a lot of people have back to school in mind. With the various sales tax holidays, I know a lot of my friends spent last weekend buying some stuff they need for their kids and some for themselves. We’re test running a partnership with LogicBuy (owned by Ziff Davis) where they curate a few good deals, in this case some back to school type stuff in laptops and messenger bags, and you get to tell us what you think about this partnership.

Do you like seeing these curated deals? Are you completely not interested? Please let us know in the comments. We want this to be useful to you and need your help to do it.

Let us know what you think!

IMHO, although these deals may be curated for your blog, my first glance indicated that they are not what I would look for currently for a student. In addition, the link, for example, for the messenger bag doesn’t take me to a low price, but the normal price of $109. (is there a code needed?). Thank you for thinking of this though.

sorry – I wasn’t clear – I wouldn’t purchase a monitor that costs $999 for a student (as you said, perhaps at home, but even then…) and a laptop at $999 had better be an apple product or for special student needs, because that is a very high price.

CS – I appreciate the feedback!

I’ kinda agree with CS. The curated deals and prices from LogicBuy (ZiffDavis) are not that great; kinda high. Like CNET has review on hp envy h8m 1360t, and costs $672.49 with free shipping. I saw the hp envy 15t-j000 Quad Edition 4th-gen Core i7 for $722.49 online. Is the partnership with LogicBuy similar to clicki ads, or is it based on if a real purchase is made?

I think this is worth being a regular feature.
