I appear to be the only person who had a problem getting into the new site. I tried my access code time and time again until I was eventually locked out. Well, I only now got to calling them and...

Turns out my birthday is Jan. 1st, 1910... or at least according to them! Looks like the info got corrupted during the data transfer and my DOB got defaulted to the earliest date in their range (or something). Anyway, DOB is one of the required fields during the initial log-in, hence why I couldn't log in, and was eventually locked out.

Am I PISSED at ED? No, not at all. First off, everything (all my auto transfers) still happened in the background as they are supposed to. Second, it was pretty funny asking the CSR lady if I sounded like a 96 year old. =)

FYI, changing my DOB is a very slight pain -- I need to fax in a copy of my licence as proof.

Jim - The old site also allowed transaction downloads to Quicken/Money.

saving advice - I'm sure people could have initiated a transfer via phone if it was an emergency.

At least people are getting in now. There was a couple days there where nobody could. I feel for the people who needed to transfer money during those days...
