		<description>Looks like the RFID concept is coming into light.  Also, the government is planning to implement wireless smart tags in the passports.  These smart tags will feed biometric data into a receiver and the personnel can verify it against you.  As a security measure the smart tags cannot transmit data when the book is closed.  The front cover acts as a shield that blocks the signals and this prevents theives using a device to scan for passport data in the airport.</description>
