WTDirect Bonus Promotion Code

WTDirectWTDirect is running a winter bonus blast promotion where you can get a one time new account bonus based on how much you deposit into the account. It’s a decent offer attached to a decent savings account made to be a little more appealing when you combine the two together. Alone, neither are particularly appealing.

The bonus is based on the average balance you have between 1/1/09 and 2/28/09 and you’re cash bonus will be awarded in mid-March, based on this schedule:

  • $50,000 balance: $250 bonus
  • $40,000 balance: $200 bonus
  • $30,000 balance: $150 bonus
  • $20,000 balance: $100 bonus
  • $10,000 balance: $50 bonus

25,000 or $250 Citi PremierPass Elite Promotion

I guess offering 25,000 points is becoming the norm for a lot of the annual fee type cards these days and Citi has thrown its hat into the ring for a share of your wallet. If you apply for their Citi PremierPass Elite Level credit card and make a purchase within the first two months, they’ll credit you with 25,000 points worth a round trip ticket or $250 in gift cards.

It’s not as sizzling hot as the $250 American Express Business Gold card promotion (since that card waives the annual fee) or the now expired $250 Chase Freedom card promotion, but it’s still better than nothing, right?

I don’t know how long the promotion will last since I pulled it from the Citi homepage but there probably isn’t much a rush.

$250 Chase Freedom Rewards Screenshot

It sounds like Chase is giving new cardholders some grief when it comes to collecting on the $250 promise they made with their $250 new cardholder promotion, so I hope that I can give some words of advice for everyone.

  • Since Chase is giving many people grief, I recommend not participating in their promotions in the future. When I signed up for the American Express Business Gold card, which promised me 25,000 Membership points, they delivered without a single question. That’s how you run a promotion, customers shouldn’t have to fight you or show proof, just to get the promotion you offered.
  • That being said, make sure you were actually eligible, the offer was a limited run promotion but it was alive and dead so often in a short period of time, even they might be confused.
  • Get it escalated to a supervisor and keep plugging away until they demand a screenshot, then send them this screenshot.
  • Don’t let them beat you, perseverance will get you your rightful $250. $250 is a lot of money, don’t let them take it from you.

Good luck!

$250 American Express Business Gold Rewards Promotion

American Express Business Gold $250 PromotionThis promotion has unfortunately ended.

Wow, the last time there was a $250 bonus for signing up for a credit card, it was gone within a day. This time, the American Express Business Gold card is offering up 25,000 Membership Rewards point afters your first purchase. 25,000 Membership Rewards points can be redeemed for $250 in gift cards OR a domestic airline ticket (and even statement credits)!

Who is eligible? Don’t I have to be a business? Any individual can be a sole proprietorship without filling out any paperwork whatsoever, so anyone is eligible for this card. Simply put in your name as your business and your social security number as your EIN and you will be considered a business. You don’t pay extra taxes, you don’t have to fill out any extra paperwork, this is 100% legal and acceptable.

What about the annual fee? The $175 annual fee is waived for the first year so you don’t pay a cent.

The fine print is pretty standard, you must apply for and make a purchase before the end of the year, 12/31/2007, and the bonus points may appear as two separate point credits – 5,000 and 20,000 points and will appear 6 to 8 weeks after the first purchase. You must also be a new Basic Business Gold Rewards card member, you can’t transfer an existing account over.

  • Earn points even faster to get more rewards for your business
  • 3X points on airfare, 2X points on advertising, gas, and shipping , 1X points on everything else
  • One million rewards from over 500 brands
  • Unlimited Rewards Potential- there is no limit to the number of points you can earn and points do not expire
  • 24/7 support for everything from identity theft to travel emergencies
  • $0 introductory annual fee for the first year, then $175
  • Get unlimited Additional Gold Cards for an additional annual fee of $50- and this fee is waived for the first year

Chase Freedom(SM) Rewards $250 Bonus Is Back

The Chase $250 bonus promotional offer is no longer available.

A couple months back Chase was offering $250 after your first purchase on their new Chase Freedom® Visa – $50 Bonus Cash Back and now that offer is back!

The first time of the offer terms is hard to read but I believe it says that you’ll get points that can be redeemed for a $250 check. The bonus offer is valid only for first-time card members with new accounts…. Existing card members/accounts are not eligible for the bonus offer (I think this refers to existing Freedom card members, but I’m not 100% sure). Act quickly because this offer died fast last time around.
