There are few things I find fun about tax day, which is coming up shortly, but the one thing I do enjoy are all the deals and freebies companies offer to help you deal with the stress of filing your taxes. Since I started putting this article together as early as I thought of it, a lot of companies haven’t announced their promotions. So I included the ones who have been eager about getting the word out as well as a list of giveaways from last year.
Confirmed Tax Day Freebies
Updated April 13th, 2012:
- Bruegger’s Bakery Cafe is offering their Big Bagel Bundle, a baker’s dozen of bagels and 2 tubs of Bruegger’s cream cheese, for only $10.40 from April 13th through April 17th. You’ll need to print a coupon off their facebook page.
- Free HydroMassage Experience available April 16th-20th. Call ahead because not all locations are participating.
- Free copies & shredding from Office Depot – Office Depot offers this every year and this year it includes 25 B&W single sided copies and up to 5 lb. of shredding free of charge from now until April 16th.
- Chili’s has a coupon for a free appetizer or dessert with the purchase of an entree, from April 16th – 8th.
- Cinnabon always gives away two free Classic Cinnabon Bites on April 17th at participating locations.
- PF Chang’s is giving a 15% discount nationwide on dine-in and carry-out on April 17th, excludes alcohol and happy hour.
- Maggie Moo’s and Marble Slab Creamery offer “Yo-Bate” giveaway on tax day, giving away a free scoop of their yogurt from 4pm-7pm at participating locations.
- Panda Express is giving away a serving of their new Shanghai Angus Steak, just visit their Facebook page and “like” them for a coupon.
- Famous Dave’s sent out an offer to their email subscribers of $10.40 off any food purchase of $30 or more, April 11 – 18.
- Boston Market has a coupon for Buy one individual meal and a fountain drink and get the second individual meal free – called their 2012 Tax Relief Plan, valid April 17th only.
- AMC Theaters has a coupon for a free small popcorn valid April 13th – 15th.
There are a few from last year that I haven’t heard about this year. Kiplinger’s wrote about Arby’s giving free curly fries, Bally Total Fitness giving out free workouts, California Tortilla giving away free chips & cheese, Chili’s offering a free appetizer or dessert, Cinnabon offering two free Classic Cinnabon Bites, Directv giving a free trial of HBO & Cinemax, Hydromassages, IHOP kids eat free for April, MaggieMoo’s free mini ice cream sundae, McCormick & Schmick’s drink specials and PF Chang’s 15% discount.
