		<description>The problem with credit card information is that it&#039;s completely useable without any other piece information than the information that&#039;s on the credit card and stored by the retailers.   I&#039;d be happier if all transaction required a pin confirmation or hardware dongle.   That way I&#039;d have one option for shopping in person and another for online, but neither would be useable without either my physical presence or my implicit knowledge.

Though on the other hand, I&#039;m not really a worrier.  If the problem was truly bad, the credit card companies would be much more on top of this.   It&#039;s my social security information that i really don&#039;t want to lifted.  Credit card number theft - an annoyance -identity theft now that a major pain in the ass.</description>

		<description>What I think is great about this story is that it bubbles back up in the news cycle every few months because TJX keeps uncovering a larger and larger number of compromised accounts.
