I know I am 2 late on this post, but came upon it..

I had a 2004 Honda Accord first new car, transmission failed at 12,000 miles..fixed it,twaterpump started to leak at 62,000 miles..$1600 fix with timing belt (another weak link I was told) then after that the power windows failed !!

My sister has had 2 Toyota's both dealer serviced low miles,1 died of engine sludge 22,000 mi and her Minivan trans failed at 44,000,fixed and it started the sludge problem... Good ?

I bought a 2008 Chrysler 300 C,55,000 and no issues at all.The earlier ones 05-07 trans o ring leaked they used a Mercedes trans and some power window modules failed again Mercedes..They say they fixed them by now..I went back to Chrysler after my import disasters..My parents have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee V-8 140,000 miles only problem was the a/c failed, common with Honda and Toyota's as well..Also a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi,70,000 problem free as well.

So I guess, people have problems with Chryslers,Honda's,Toyota's and everything else..just buy the most expensive highest mileage warranty avail..to cover yourself..

The Dodge Charger was on the recomended list at Consumer reports for a few years. I have had mine since summer of 06 and its been beaten for 40,000 miles. Only minor prob with leaky transmission and oil changes. Great car and I have a 1999 Chrysler LHS and now its starting to get some problems. 143,000 miles, runs perfect but tranny starting to go. TEN YEARS!

So first I owned a 2007 Dodge magnum SXT, never gave me any trouble until I was t-boned in the drivers door, at 45 MPH and walked away. All this stuff about Dodge vehicles being problematic is crap. Now I have a 2006 Magnum R/T and it also is a great car. My brother has a magnum as well, not a problem. Things are going to wear out and break. That is just part of owning a car. Brakes wear out because we use them to stop, suspension wears out from out great roads, and things just break. Cars are made of metal, plastic, glass, and rubber. They are subjected to heat, cold, vibration, and abuse. Any car can suck, but as for Chryslers, I think they are great. My wife has a 2008 Grand Caravan it too is a great vehicle. It does need tires though at 53,000 miles. Is that Chryslers fault?

Finally a Chrysler owner comes forward!! Speak up all you other Chrysler owners. My friend owned a 300M and constantly complained about the problems me had! He traded it in for a Honda and I never heard any more complains out of him.

If it's junk begin with like most of the Chrysler and GM products, it does not matter how you treat them. Because you are stiill going to be spending half of your life in repair shops getting it fixed.
