    Once you get rid of debt, the next best thing is to concentrate on investing because that’s one of the ways – probably the only way – to grow your money.

  2. Debt first is definitely the prudent way. However, I think it is too general a rule. If you are paying 4% on a mortgage, there is nothing wrong with investing your money if you are going to be getting a better than 4% return.
