I currently use Time Warner but after reading about a Verizon deal on Moolanomy (where you get a free 19" flatscreen) I'm about to pull the trigger on moving to Verizon for cable, internet and phone. By doing so it will save me about $115 a month, but I've heard a few negative things, like you wrote, about Verizon. I still think the cost savings are worth making the move, but I hope the transition is a smooth one. I am currently in the process of switching all my services.
