Flexo has written a great post about ten ways you can save cents but dump dollars (or penny wise, pound foolish, I prefer alliteration). Number 1 is great.

MBH tackles a challenging problem – asking for advice from someone who makes money from getting you to buy their services. In MBH’s case he talks about asking for preventative maintenance from dentists but this could apply to a mechanic, financial advisor, or any other profession. The best advice I can give is to always get a second opinion!

Nickel has some sound advice: Always ask for a discount!

FMF shares a letter he wrote to Hampton Inn Hotels – I wonder what they’ll say!

And last, but not least, JLP gives you all the math you’ll need to convert an interest rate into the annual percentage year. Also, he turned two!
