What did you think of the guest posts?

This was the first time I’ve taken the plunge and offered up some guest posts and I wanted to know what you all thought of it all. For the most part I took the entries in their entirety and I wanted to keep all the articles as original as possible. I chose some styles of writing that were a little different than my own with post lengths that were a little longer and delved more deeply into topics that I don’t tackle as often. I figured it would be a welcomed respite from my tedious ramblings anyway.
But, what did you like, what did you not like, how can I make it better, blah blah, let me have it! (remember comments may be left anonymously)

I liked Julie Ali! And it’s nice to be able to take a break and still have content for your readers. I just left a gaping hole on my blog yesterday.
I think they are doing a fine job and I’ve enjoyed reading the posts.
I thought they were great – the posts were a lot more in depth than usual, and the writers gave an inside look at their own opinions and experiences. There’s lots of people who have great ideas, but don’t want to start their own blog. Maybe you could have a contest for a spot to be a guest blogger
I thought it was pretty cool. I wouldn’t mind seeing it again.
I liked Julie as well! She was eloquent, descriptive and sounded more like a bonafide bookwriter / author than a blogger or journalist. Refreshing! I would want to see more of her writing!
Ditto what Tim MMF said. Sprinkling them in every once in awhile would be great.
